Boudreau New Foundation Chair

Kelly Boudreau was elected new Chair of the Airdrie and District Community Foundation (ADCF) on April 2, 2026. She succeeds outgoing Chair Dale Rathgeber who has been at the helm of the charity for the past decade.

As Vice Chair for four years, Boudreau is ready to guide the organization as it builds its permanent fund. Currently it holds $1.4 million in financial assets; income and interest from it will fund $75,000 in grants to other nonprofits this year.

She is a community-focused financial professional and local leader, known for her work in personal finance, community leadership, and charitable initiatives.

In addition to serving on the ADCF board, Boudreau helps run the Business Club of Airdrie & Area and 100 Kids Who Care Airdrie.  She also served on the boards of the Airdrie Chamber of Commerce and the Airdrie Ringette Association.

Professionally, she works in the financial services industry, helping individuals, families, and small business owners improve their financial well-being. Boudreau has a background in accounting (including 13 years as a CPA) and now focuses on financial education and long-term planning.

Since 2008, she has lived in Airdrie with her husband Darcy, two teenagers, and two dogs. She loves Airdrie for its small-town atmosphere and pathways, and is passionate about pickleball, golf and softball as well as gardening, dogs, and walking.

Boudreau has been on the board of the ADCF since 2014, when the Foundation was just restarting. She says “Over the past 12 years the organization has grown robustly due to a cohesive and hard-working board that has a vision of a Community Foundation that really makes a difference in Airdrie.”

Looking to the future, she envisions a permanent fund of $5,000,000 by the year 2030, allowing the Foundation to give out yearly grants of $300,000 and beyond.

Friends and colleagues describe her as a community builder—someone who blends professional expertise with a strong commitment to giving back and creating lasting local impact.

The Airdrie and District Community Foundation is a registered charity that collects donations, issues tax receipts to donors, holds donations forever in investments, and awards the income from those investments to local charities.
