We at the Airdrie and District Community Foundation are grateful to receive $1,000 from the Thumbs Up Foundation, after its August 21st golf tournament. Each year, Thumbs Up shares proceeds of its golf tournament fund raising with an Airdrie nonprofit. This year, we shared in the 50-50 draw.

We were also were honored to sponsor the Hole in One contest, on the 12th hole at the Woodside Golf Course.

Airdrie and District Community Foundation Chair Dale Rathgeber said, after receiving the donation, “ The Community Foundation is so grateful that Thumbs Up saw fit to give back to the community and support our Foundation.”

The Thumbs Up Foundation aims to eliminate suicide by providing mental, physical, and emotional care, especially those who have fallen between into the cracks between our institutions.
